a while back I washed, spun and conditioned my LG phone by mistake ! A/b ers came to my rescue and suggested remedies all of which I tried but to no avail. Orange shop realised immediately it had been in water and told me to chuck it, so had to buy another but it didnt have the same big on screen letters and key pad etc and I hated it. Found a liitle phone workshop at the back of an independant shop selling new phones, travel tickets etc, I will try said the little man and put a new circuit in for you, went back twice and he said it wasnt ready, third visit I was about to give up hope and low and behold my phone works ! even still got the "Good, Bad and the Ugly" call tune on it. £ 18 was the charge, worth every penny.

maybe you should've gone the whole hog and stuck it in the tumble dryer.. that might've fixed it!
