Im in the need of some help. I am in paramedic school and we are in the pharmacology section. We just went over the Autonomic nervous system and its drugs and i have a test Monday, but its not all making sense. I understand how sympathomimetics, sympatholytics work (alpha & beta agonist/antagonist) and how cholinergic agonist work but im seeing grey on the ganglion, postsynaptic, and presynaptic receptor stuff. I understand how adrenergic neurotransmitters alpha=NE and beta=EPI work, but i just cant see clearly when it gets into the synapse area and its very stressful. Im hoping someone can say the right thing and explain so all of this can click into place. thanks.
yes. have read a few chapters in some books and even medical research databases. i have no clue why its not becoming clear to me by now. everything else fell right into place when we had lecture on it except this
just covered the Autonomic nervous system drugs. like atropine, terbutaline, norepi, dopamine, dobutamine, isoproterenol, metaproterenol. i have not heard of the car parking idea.
