Is it cheaper to cook a meal on one of these "portable" Hallogen ovens that have gone down in price steadily i.e started at £59.99 the down to £39.99 and now advertised at £29.99 or to cook in the traditional electric oven ?
Ar they down in price because they arent selling or is it because they are too expensive to use ?
Thinking of getting one for xmas present for a relative.

I have had my Halogen now for well over a year and would never go back to using my main oven . It is cheaper for me as I live on my own but do use main oven when family are here.
ive had one for a couple of years or more, but ive never used it, still in the box, but people do rave about them, must start to use it

Probably more suitable for somebody who lives alone and who also is amenable to new ideas - could take some time to become "comfortable" using it. Possibly not for older folk?
