Noisy office equipment

Does anyone know of any rules / law for excess noise from office equipment, i sit next to a network printer that everyone uses and its become very very noisy, whinning when it works, and is giving me some serious headaches now, but no one is doing anything about it even though i have complained

you should be able to talk to your supervisor/boss about it who will then in turn talk to the IT Technician to move the printer to a more suitable location.

You can ask for surrounding noise to be measured as there is a legal decibel limit... Basic Health & Safety laws... Your right, otherwise it could contribute to deafness later in life... suable so in their best interests....
