How much does a McDonalds store manager make a year? Are there any prequisites? How does this compare to other, similar stores?

Whatever they pay, you should earn double.
When in the States for three years, got a job as Night Manager of a roast beef fast food restaurant. I only lasted three months.
The work is non-stop. and shift cover is a nightmare. The staff is mostly youngsters still in school, or school leavers. They want the money, but, do not have the commitment to work. So, most of your time is spent driving them to work without totally alienating them to the point they quit. The biggest problem is shift cover. They still have to understand about responsibility for their acceptance of shift assignments.
Simply put, most of them don't have to work....yet. So, it is easy for them to simply , "Forgot I was due to work" or "I really felt very ill" or "I'm getting stressed so I thought it would be better if I chill out some" and many many more. And if you should get a phone call before the shift starts it would be classed as a miracle.
I know an owner and a manager of a McDonalds and they are in it for an income with job security. But they sure have to satisfy some difficult franchise inspections and audits and spot checks.
And then there are the customers....mostly they are nice people, but, there are a few that make you life a living he**. And it physically hurts when all you can say to defend yourself is "yes sir/madam or no sir/madam."
But, as with anything, "No pain no gain." I would say, "Have a go, but, don't wait too long before you decide whether it's the life for you." Otherwise, you may find yourself 'boxed-in'.
Good Luck from someone who's been there and done it

id imagine its similar to that at pizzahut
rgm in pizza hut will earn around 22,000 ayear witht he possibility of target bonuses .
hard targets too.
the hours are long and the cash losses are a responsibility of the manger too
all in all ive known waiters in pizza hut earning 20,000 in ayear with tips for working a 32 hour week and 3 foreign holidays a year from that
sometimes its not worth the status
