Do you still need to put your education details (and qualifcations) on your CV once you're way past school age, ie mid 40s? Wasn't sure if it was still applicable or what the "fashion" is these days!!

It's not necessary to list them all, put in where you went to school and say something like 'achieved x number of o levels', but include any qualifications relevant to the employment you're looking for of course.

Another question (its been so long and its not for me!) - double sided or single sided?
Single sided, looks better and less liklihood of one side getting missed if it's copied
it depends really, if they are the only qualifications you have then they might be worth mentioning as said above. but generally i think gcses etc are only really for younger candidates.

if you have a degree and or nvq/professional qualification that is more relevant to the job then that would suffice.

single sided. good quality paper. although these days most of it is done electronically, no paper required.

At 55, do you think I could get away with - 'Can't Remember' ?
depends on how muchj else is on there, if you only have one or 2 jobs listed itd be wise to add them but if you have already filled 2-3 pages with jobs its probably not worth it - unless the qualifications are particulkarly relevant to the job s you are applying for...
In the process of updating mine and have only gone as far back as Further Education (HND) as it is particularly relevant. The people who will see mine won't be interested in my O/A levels...
