The Day To Day Life Of A Miller

Can anybody advise any further reading (not Chaucer) about the day to day life of a miller (preferably Victorian) i.e. did they only run the mill or did they have to supplement their income in order to make ends meet,especially towards the end of the 19th century? I need to condence this into an easily learnable and readable pamphlet for volunteers to read at my local watermill.
