If f(x) = 1 / x²-2 and g(x) = x-3.

Find f(g(x)) in its simplest form.

The first step is, in effect, to replace x by x-3 in f(x).
This gives you:

f(g(x))= 1/[(x-3)²-2]

You can then rearrange the right hand side to simplify it.
