I am currently applying for jobs and two of the companies I have worked for have changed their name slightly since I left. On my CV/job applications should I list the companies as they are known now or as they were when I worked for them?

Many thanks

I'd put both (I have to do the same)

XYZ company Ltd (now part of /taken over by the X Group)
i would say 'blah blah' formally trading as 'blah blah' ...
*formerly

Thank you both.
You should include both past and present names. Write the current name and enclose the old name in a parenthesis using the intro 'formerly called...'
