Yes Yes yes, thank god i'm not alone!
i work with someone who was obsessed with putting the heating on full blast! They waited until I left the office then turned every radiator on full, when I returned I would hear the radiators ticking and know I was going to spend the rest of the day sweating my arse off!
I tried to explain that the heating doesn't need to be put on fully and perhaps that halfway would do to take the chill off! I suggested that putting a sweater on might help, I spent my time either going round and opening up every window door or going outside to cool off! It all came ot a head when we had our last recent hot spell and they cycled into work all hot and sweaty.....so they turned on all the radiators to "dry" off there sweaty cycling gear! we have since had a memo round saying staff are not allowed to touch the radiators and the heating will be managed/watched by the manager!
