Can you study an online course whilst at college?

I want to be a physicist, which requires a-levels in physics and maths. I have enrolled to do a-level biology and physics at college. However I only achieved a B grade in GCSE maths, so unfortunately I can't study a-level maths there. I was wondering would it be ok to study a-level maths at open study college, which lets you take the course online, alongside studying at college? I really don't want to spend another year retaking my maths GCSE. Any feedback would be great:)

I don't why not. You should ask the people at the Open college to be sure, they will be able to help you.
I looked into this for GCSE's, you don't even need to do the course (expensive) if you're confident you can get an A next time round, you just book an examination centre and do the exam on the same day as everyone else. I'll have a poke about to see if I can find the website, I'm sure it was the examination board itself.
