I am working at the moment but really needs to go back to college and get more education because I keep getting jobs that don't pay well and I am always bored because I keep getting asked to do labels or really boring stuff, I am 45 yrs of age. I have now been accepted into Law school, which I started 4 years ago but had to give up because of child care, I will start in September, the problem is its full time, I have a child and cannot afford to got to school full time because of the financial committment like mortgage etc, what can I do?

I don't know exactly what you want to do but you might consider taking the ILEX route into the legal profession. This could enable you to study and work at the same time.

Sponsorships are few and far between unfortunately. You could get a student loan and/ or a bank loan (for LPC/ BVC fees 6,000+) to finance your study. You won't have to pay these back for a few years.

Realistically, it'll be quite difficult to get a firm of solicitors to take you on or get called to the bar if you're 45ish. Maybe the legal executive/ paralegal/ other position would suit you best.

Good Luck.

Or you could ask the uni where you have been accepted to let you go part time over 2 years.
Contact the Inland Revenue - don't laugh! Tax Credits people are very helpful (really) and will be able to tell you if you are able to get any kind of help with childcare or tax relief. 0845 300 3900

Natwest offer a professional trainee loan for medics and lawyers of up to 25,000 which doesn't have to be paid back until you are earning a set amount of money after you qualify.

you can also get a student loan which is paid back in the same way.

there are ways around everything, don't give up 2Sweet
