What Is The Salary For An Apprenticeship At Airbus
9 Answers
After hoping for a place on the craft apprenticeship, I don't even know how much I'd be on, or whether I'd be able to live of it. Does anyone know, or have a rough estimate on what the weekly/monthly salary is?

My cousin is an engineering fitter at Airbus in Germany. To be honest, he doesn`t earn very much. If you can get onto an apprenticeship with an airline (which might be hard to come by but that is possible) you might be in a better position to further your ambitions. The only airline in the UK that that has any kind of apprentice training is BA.
There are set rates as described for Apprenticeships, but do bear in mind that it's not just the pay - you'll be getting the craft apprenticeship qualification at the same time, and you don't have to pay for that at all. If you are on low pay and have to support yourself, you may be entitled to tax credits as a top-up, but it all depends on your circumstances.
I thought the minimum wage for apprentices was £2.65
