I'm looking for temp work, and saw an ad for a driver-hire agency.  I only have a standard licence so could only drive a van, but I am only insured as a named driver.  Could I drive a van for a company without my own policy?

The company should have fleet insurance, and if you are driving one of their vehicles, you can be listed as a "named driver", which means their insurance covers you in that vehicle only.

Hi cooky,

I am a Driving Consultant in an agency, You can drive a van on a normal licence but most of the time you need to be over 25 for insurance purposes and have some experience.
