Salary - Tour Guide

Has anyone got a rough idea how much a coach tour guide earns? I am assuming that most are self employed on a zero hours contract so can I have any advice on a what a week's earnings would be, not including tips, for a tour guide who is escorting a coach load of holiday makers to a UK seaside resort for one week, taking them on day trips and doing everything else expected of them including being on call 24 hours a day. I hear that it's not particularly well paid - but don't have any idea what that actually means.
