My first job as a teenager was part time in a nightclub collecting glasses, then later I was promoted to door and coats. It's not there any more. I don't know if I'd do it again. I'd need better pay for a start.
I was a welder's assistant in a silencer factory. No, I wouldn't want to go back to it at all.
The welder had a real skill for using a long metal pole to clonk moving rats.
Similar to ummm. Part time job in a cafe in day and a bar in the evening. First full time job was in an office as a wages clerk. Wouldn't go back to any of them
I have only had one job - DWP from 1980 to 2004 (when I was 40) they gave me money so that I would leave. Since then Cat Herding and some voluntary work.
Car Salesman, before I even held a Licence, I was mature looking for my age and no-one ever asked. I could drive ok but ... ... ..
got away with it.
Just after I got a Licence I was offered a job with a local Lotus Agency run by a pair of 'mad' Irish Brothers, what a load of fun that was for a couple of years before I got into the RMs.
Would I do it again, probably.
I had a Saturday job as a shop assistant in a stationery store in, Newcastle. Yes, I would do it again if I had to, but my legs aren't 17 years old anymore.
I had a Saturday job working in a fishing tackle manufacturers. I'm still using some of the lead weights I managed to purloin. No, I wouldn't go back, I must have stamped out thousands of fishing brolly frames.
