I am going to be starting treatment in the next month due to a chronic condition which I have. The drug is fairly new and there are a lot of questions being asked, therefore I would really like to start a blog to document my experience in the hope that it will help others.
The only thing holding me back is my lack of confidence when it comes to punctuation and grammar. I did fairly well at school and got a good grade for English but I would like to complete a refresher course in order to build up my confidence and ensure that what I am posting is correct.
Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can complete such a course? Preferably online and not expensive, if possible.
Also, any suggestions for the best (free) site to start a blog?
Same as Tilly. Your post was written in perfectly good English. You can always find spellings in dictionaries (make sure it is English not American spelling) and a thesaurus would help to expand your vocabulary. Ditto grammar and punctuation. There's always AnswerBank as well, of course - then we can happily argue amongst ourselves on abstruse points. :)...

Don't know how to do a blog, I'm afraid, but someone will surely be along who does know.
Thank you both for your responses and compliments. I worry most about the use of commas (I believe I overuse them) but, as you have suggested, I could always ask for support on here.
Use as many commas as you like; they often add clarity and almost never make things any worse. There are probably hundreds of books on the subject, but they often disagree with one another, and others are out of date. Your writing seems fine. Sorry I can't help with blogging advice.
