Surely common sense and excellent time and people management skills are more important. The fact that you already have a degree shows that you are able to focus, commit and work to a high level for sustained periods and that you pay good attention to detail etc etc.
Check with a potential future employer before wasting money on tuition fees - you may already be qualified enough for the job!!!

I work as an event co-ordinator for a publishing company and would strongly advise against signing up for any courses. I don't think it would be money well spent - you are much better off writing to/contacting any venues or events companies in your area and getting some work experience. It isn't really a career that you can be "taught" - it is more a case of having a go, seeing if you already have the right skills and picking things up as you go along. Hope that helps a bit...
