Floral dresses are never suitable for an interview. A suit, or plain skirt or trousers with a toning jacket and plain shirt or blouse. Asda do work separates that are a much better bet.

Would be fine to work in, but you should always take it up notch for interview.
If you must wear a dress for an interview this is the sort of thing and even then you should have a matching or toning jacket with it.

while i agree it's useful investment to have an "interview" outfit that's classic, i disagree about floral dresses being out for interviews at least this one will cover your bum and tits, unlike others you've posted when you have had other interviews.

Other posters will have a go at me for asking and I usually try to keep it zipped on your questions but how on earth are you managing to buy new clothes for every single interview, pub meal, night out with girlfriends, blind date? It's not even normal behaviour for rich people.

Personally, I think rowan has answered perfectly. A dentist is going to be looking for clean lines. Add colour/interest with a brooch or something like that.

I think it's perfectly fine for an interview. The days are gone where specific clothing is required for interviews. As long as you look clean and tidy and don't show loads of flesh.

it's much like what my dentist's receptionists wear, and as a patient I'd be fine with it. To be on the safe side, why not pop into the surgery and see what they're wearing now?

What you do need is a nice smile and a pleasant manner. And you need to feel comfortable in what you are wearing. So you don't need new clothes!

very true, Miss T. Pay close attention to what patients are saying, as the dentists should also be doing, and make it clear you're working hard on their behalf when you're taking bookings etc, arranging emergeny appointments etc.
