I believe Abbey mentioned having dyspraxia last year...which would go a long way to explain some of her difficulties

I've only been there a day so not sure if it for me if it not there's no need to put it on my cv

15.33 You stick at it Abbey. It can take a few weeks to settle into a job and you said the induction went ok, so get on with it and do your best, and try and show some enthusiasm.

Thanks, Abbeylee. Maybe the 'pressure' of the care home job is something you could learn to cope with? You do like the work there, but maybe it was too much too soon - you might have fared better if you'd built up the hours gradually. Mind you, you'd still want, need, to earn enough to live on...

Question Author

I might see if they will let me change my availability as a colleuge said they are flexible

You seem to be on the negative side of it

Throw yourself into the job and try and enjoy the change and the challenge.

Question Author

I don't know weather to tell her if I don't like home bargains and can I still do my 30 hours until i get a job with more hours.

Abbey, you could actually enjoy the HB job, and your previous experience (in B and M, I think) might prove invaluable. Give the job a decent try, see how it goes.

Question Author

They put me in for 3-7 Saturday I can't do that all the time

Why can't you do that time?

Social or domestic?

Question Author

Both

Have you asked if that is every Saturday or just this week

Question Author

N0 booked next Saturday off

So you have booked a day off when you will have been there for just over a week, I wouldn't call that a good start. I guess you must still be living at home otherwise you couldn't afford to do that. I thought the idea was to increase your working hours

Black trousers, plain black top, ( I would go for a roll neck sweater as it's a bit warmer than a blouse ) and for the induction flat black shoes as they may have you walking around the store as you learn where stuff is.  If you are working for them you will need to build an all black wardrobe for work anyway.   Invest in some good comfortable black shoes with a lowish  heel maybe a leather loafer style, not a ballerina pump which would be bad for your back.  If you want to wear a trainer type skechers do some all black ones that are more shoe like in styling and are a good compromise.

Rowan the induction has already happened and Abbey has been there a day but is not sure she likes it!

Question Author

If I don't do I go to my boss in the care home and ask if I can have my hours back until I find a job I like with more hours

Abbey, didn't the nursing home cut your hours right back?

Question Author

Yes I Said that why I don't know what to do if I don't like HB

I doubt very much they will put your hours back up having reduced them. Give this new job a chance you never know you might like it

Question Author

But I can't do the 15.00-19.00 this Saturday they've given me
