I believe Abbey mentioned having dyspraxia last year...which would go a long way to explain some of her difficulties

I done floors yesterday it was ok but I'll speak to my supervisor Monday

Its like talking to a 15 year old

I really don't want to embarrass you Abbie, but if you suffer from Autism in any form it would explain things a bit more and we would be very understanding.  Just open up a bit more to us.  Lots of  nice people on this site.  I for one would love to hear about your dog walking and your love of dogs.  Perhaps a paid job working in kennels or a rescue organisation  would  be great for you.

Hi no I don't been tested maybe anxiety. I would love and I really do like cleaning or warehouse to a certain extent

If you love cleaning you have to prove if to your manager.

Keep the hours and excel at your duties and then ask them to increase them - not to full time but maybe the same amount again - to give you time to prove yourself.

Keep at the retail job after all you need money to socialise

Thanks for answering.  I suffer from anxiety too!  I'm glad you got tested.  How about my suggestion about working with dogs?

Abbey, please calm down.  You made a mistake on the till. Can you tell me what it was and I may be able to help.  Have they moved you to replenishing stock or what else ?

We're willing to help 😀

An item went through till twice. I was put on stock after yes

Plus care home is on my doorstep

//I'll go Monday to care home and see if I can have my hours back until I find a more suitable job with more hours//

Have you actually left the care home?

Question Author

No they reduced my hours

Thanks Abbey.  I have done the same. It is easy to correct by cancelling the second and a more senior colleague should have shown you how .

Once you have learnt how to cancel the second entry, you should keep that knowledge in your head or write it down.

//I'll go Monday to care home and see if I can have my hours back until I find a more suitable job with more hours//

You didn't give up your hours though did you - they removed them from you

How old would Mollykins be now?

And would you tell the care home you only wanted your hours back until you found a more suitable job?

Question Author

Yes that why I wanna ask for them back

Question Author

One of my colleges suggested that

(RedHelen, Mollykins said she was in the 6th form in 2010.)

Abbey, don't worry too much about mistakes at the beginning...or about being moved to other tasks. They need to find out what your strengths are. When I go into my local B and M, certain people may always be on the till...others do shelf replenishment.

They will also expect some nervousness from new employees. They don't expect perfection. So don't be too hard on yourself...but do put in every effort to do your best. Make each day better.
