A colleuge said today he think my boss (checkout manager) would be on my side if he knew and I was looking and managers wouldn't care.

Abbey, will any of your references back up that you work well in fast-paced environments, have a strong attention to detail and have a strong work ethic?

I think the confusion comes because abbey has several questions fired at her at the same time.

That's true sometimes, Naomi - but my recent (charity shop/the job is daunting...) chat was at a point where nothing else was being asked.

There's an elemnt of that Naomi, but I'm referring primarily to the lazy childlike writing style and failure to show attention to detail with posts. Yes, abbey has a lot of questions fired at her but this is partly because her previous answers are unclear and partly because she keeps introducing different aspects- in this thread we've covered her existing job, the warehouse/forklift job, the charity shop role and now another new job she is considering applying for.

It might improve clarity if ABBEY copied and pasted the question or at least the gist of it, when responding to it.

It's a bit hit and miss but we manage.

1 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Can you work at speed?

2 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Do you have both of these qualities?

3 Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Are you, and are you able to put work before your social life?

4 Physically fit and able to lift and move items as needed

You previously said colleagues lifted for you.

Question Author

Yes I've worked in a warehouse before.

I'll try my best.

Hours Mondayto Friday 9-5

If they are the required skills/competences then you'll need to prepare for the application process by thinking of examples that evidence your experience and abilities in each of these areas.

I thought you were let go from your last warehouse job because you failed the probation period.

NMA, I think abbey said no experience is necessary.

I disagree- maybe experience in a warehouse is not listed as an essential requirement but you need to show you have the required skills they've listed.

DIDL I found out because they brought an ex employee back.

Hope advert is geniue.

Your warehouse manager stated you lacked energy.

Question Author

Yes he was a bully, who would say to me they're getting rid of me to bring someone else back.

Of course

Or maybe they were bringing someone back because they had decided you to let you go as you were not up to the role in their view.
