advertising creatives

I have been an artist for many years, have a degree as well as many other qualifications. I work as a designer for film tv and theatre, but I have been considering trying my hand at design for advertising. I studied a couple of modules in this at college so have an idea of the concept and techniques etc, but no real experience, except for some promotional material

Can anyone help me with where to start - sites, mags, companies etc etc
