my sister has now been fully qualified for a couple of years. She reckons it will be equivalent to now.

Good luck... although i have the utmost respect to doctors i wouldnt wish that career on anyone! Working 16 hours a day for relatively crap pay... forever and ever studying... and no gratitude...

its not unless you become a GP or higher then a registrar that you start to make a good wage.
