I might sound like a cheap skate, but my son starts high school this term, and as we are not that well of, and its just cost us 100 + for his uniform, my son is forever losing parts of his uniform, our biggest expense was his blazer 30 with the school badge attatched, I know I can buy the exact same blazer fron George of Asda for 9, my question is does anyone know where i can buy the badge or patch to sew on, if i can buy this I will save over 50% on his blazer if I should ever need to replace it, the school in question is ST THOMAS MORE RC COLLEGE IN DENTON TAMESIDE MANCHESTER, The school and the shop wont let me know where to buy it for obvious reason's, thanx for your help and answers

why not put an ad in your local paper or PO asking if any ex pupils will sell you their old uniforms - i'll bet there are loads in the bottom of wardrobes
Most schools should hold 2nd hand uniform sales.. If not write a letter to the school saying their PTA should organise something like this. I remember when I started high school that's where most of mine came from, mum bought my first uniform new but after that I mainly got 2nd hand stuff. If ther's a newsletter every month it's worth having a look just incase.
