6 Answers
where do you start?? as in previous posts I've said i'm fed up of my job, and someone suggested ebay.. well I use it ALOT.. mainly for buying things but that has got to stop because as of the end of the month I will be out of work... what sort of things could I buy and then sell for a profit?? is there anybody who does this as either their job or just for extra cash and is it worth it?? thanks xx

I look for a while to see the average prices that each model sells for, then if I see one going cheap, grab it quick.
The last one I bought was a D500 which I bought for 54 (including postage) and resold it for 73 (incl postage). As it cost me 4 to post I made a profit of 15.
I do find it time consuming however if someone could be bothered to do this many times then I think it would be worthwhile.
You can also try to search for mis-spelt items which generally sell for less as they get less attention. To search for mis-spelt items then this site is quite useful:

should do what I do...enter competitions and sell the prizes
or look on amazon.
..some games/cd's etc are 0.01 plus P+P
so you can sell them on eBay and when the buyer pays you simply ship the order direct from amazon to them, make sure your keep the invoice address and shipping address seperate,so they don't get your details!!
naughty i know, but if people are to lazy to shop around, let them think eBay is the only place to get a bargain. and make a few quid yourself...
I also did the same thing with HMV website when their sale was on...sold Back to the future boxset for 32 and it cost me 12.99 incl.delivery...I sold 4 of them!!

I enter radio contests and free prize draws,
visit http://www.myoffers.co.uk
you get entered for free prize draws,if you don't want all the e-mails, register with a different e-mail...I have one just for recieving competiotn news...I've won quite a few things, recently I wont 2 tickets for 'stell artois film festival' and sold them on eBay for 45...obviously you can't win them all but you can enter draws on 'my offers' loads of times...
I've won Jo whiley's shuffle on radio one 3 serperate times via e-mail..not actually going on the radio...I say if it's free to enter you've got nothing to lose!
