driving jobs

sorry if this is a silly question but please can you tell me of any companies that might require a driver. Something like DHL, Parcelforce etc. I need ideas on where to check for driving vacancies.

If you go on the jobcentre plus website it brings up jobs in your area,also on the right hand side when you get into the vacancies it has another way to search for jobs this gives more scope for agency work. You can access jobs from the last 24 hrs so have a better chance.

UPS will be looking for drivers due to their recent take over of Lynx. Many of the drivers who previously worked for Lynx and crossed over, are now leaving as it is not so lucritus.

Register with driving agencies, they are always looking for drivers for multi drop contracts.

A lot of temp agencies offer driving work - try Extra Personnel, Pertempts, Brook Street to name a few. You'd be working for the agency as opposed to the company itself, but if they like you they may offer you a permanent contract.
