Teach High School. I do and it is never boring. I see 170 students per day and like the idea that if one annoys me I don't have to spend an 8 hour day with him. I have had office jobs and have been stuck looking at the same person for 40 hours/week. UGH!!! The kids change every 42 minutes. They are a hoot and if you like them they know it and respond well.
2 months off with pay is good too. Plus here in the us we average about 3 week long holday/vacations plus other days like Thanksgiving and Presidents' Day etc.
I teach in NYC Public Schools and make a decent living, not rich, but OK. I think Public School here means something different, but these are the free schools that our taxes support. (It's one of those jobs everyone, in theory, thinks is honorable, but if we ask for new contracts and raises we are selfish and should give our blood to teach the poor, poor inner-city children.
