I have now been told he has been forced to resign as enquries into the way the department was run were not as they should be do you think I should contact the emplyer and ask for my job back do I have a case to do this thanks GypsyX

Of course it is OK to apply for your job back, just say you had no option but to resign because of circumstances at the time - leave it at that and let them come to their own conclusion. It would be best not to go into a whole lot of grievance about your ex-boss as they may feel it to be a reflection on the firm in general. Good luck.

you can however raise this with citizens advice or an employment solicitor and they will advise you as to whether you could take this case to an employment tribunal, this could technically be classed as constructive dismissal. ps you need to go to a tribunal within 3 months of leaving the job. hope this helps.
