dog grooming

i would like to work as a dog groomer but not sure how to get into that field of work. i am 32 years old with at least 15 years experience working with animals from veterinary nursing to kennel work but would now like a change of career.i live in west thurock essex so are there any courses in this area or do i need a job in a grooming parlour? what about home learning courses like ics? are they any good? thank you
