I didn't stamp my feet, I just sulked...quite a lot, maybe I'm just too thoughtful, but if I'd said "I'll phone tomorrow" and yes I know tomorrow is still not over! then even if there was no decision, I'd phone and say that, just to keep the applicant up to date.

They should never have said...tomorrow...it should have just been "within the next few days"

2} it must be extremely frustrating all jokes aside with the promise of someone getting back to you and they do not, i can see why you feel like the whole world's against you {job's wise} .

Keep trying Suzy, i would employ you if i could, you come across as someone who will get back up after being knocked down, your attitude is A 1, Fingers crossed you get what your looking for sooner rather than later.

thanks :o)...it was funny LAST Friday but it's getting beyond a joke now...yes I know, I'm being impatient but I have to go to THAT place AGAIN tomorrow night...I'd sooner poke myself hard with a sharp stick! Resigning without a job to go to is a bad option isn't it?

Its probably best to stay in your job for the time being, unless its really ''grinding'' away at you, in which i would fully understand if you resigned.

Can you afford to be without your present work {don't answer if you don't wish}?

the money is nice, it keeps the kids in treats and means if I want something I can just buy it, but is that enough to keep me there much longer? I dunno

It certainly isn't for the company and team spirit....I work all alone, and theres so much bad feeling between other staff...bit of a you and us thing...and the manager lets it happen.

Oh Suzy you sound so down. Nothing worse than being in a job you hate, really is soul destroying - I know been there. I am going to think that the person who should be ringing you hasn't had the chance cos they are sooooo busy and will ring you 1st chance they get. Let's hope that's the reason they haven't rung.

I'm being really lazy, hubby is at work and I can't be bothered to cook just for me, so I've ordered a take away pizza. Greedy fat pig lol!! Very rarely have take away so it's a treat.

Argh!!!!!! If my computer freezes once more I am going to throw it across the room and then stamp on it!!!
