Honours Business Degree

Can anyone tell me what an Honours Business Degree would qualify you for? It just sounds so general and vague - what advantages would it give you over a degree in a specific field (e.g. accountancy, quality, engineering etc)?

Having gained mine 2 years ago, i can honestly say nothing! Your use of the word 'general' is spot on. A lot of companies nowadays look at experience over this qualification, and i agree in respect that you cant teach someone to be a good manager, my advice is head down the finance route, theres a lot more money to be made.
