Should we pay tax?

My wife works just 8 hours a week (she does not get any benefits - nor do I) as a self employed care worker. Does she need to inform the Inland Revenue or offer to pay any NI?

But buildersmate is right; there's unlikely to be any tax or NI to pay.
yes she need to tell the inland revenue, She is working so she needs to make the inland revenue aware that she is. I had a casual contract at a mojor uk brand, which ment that some weeks i didnt work and others i worked 7-10 hours, i still got charged NI every week but only taxed if i earnt over 96 per week
