If a job is advertised with applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure, what does this actually entail. The job is working for the NHS by the way.

yes the nhs(employer) woud pay if you got the job.
it will entail you filling out a form and providing a copy of your passport/ photo id, them sending it all off, and you getting a certificate back. It takes some time so if you are successfull, you will probably start work, but not have access to vulnerable individuals or priveliged info till it comes back clear.
if it dosent come back clear, you will be asked to leave
