JSA is normally paid into your bank account on the day that you sign. However, it's paid by the type of BACS transfer that takes 3 working days to clear (rather than the 'same day' service which many employers use). So your benefit (from 04/08 to 11/08) should arrive in your account on 14/08.
However, the initial payment of JSA is sometimes delayed by bureaucracy, so it might not appear in your account until a few days later.
If you're on fortnightly signing, you'll theoretically have to sign on 25/08 (with the money theoretically arriving in your account on 28/08). However, that's a bank holiday and you'll actually get your benefit in advance. (I'm not certain of the exact date but it will probably be around 22/08 when it arrives in your account).
Thereafter the regular pattern should kick in. i.e. your next signing date will be 08/09, with the money arriving in your account on 11/09.
