after a job

Hi, i'm 14 and after a day job, preferably on a saturday, but i don't want things such as paper round or baby sitting, i would like to work in something like a cafe. But i'm not very sure on how to get a job like that, any advise would be appreciated.

Er, go along or write to the places that you'd like to work and ask them if they have any vacancies.

I'm afraid that these days many shops, cafes etc will not employ children of your age as you need to get a permit to work from your local authority, and sometimes they have problems getting insurance cover for young people. See here

But as Twenty20 has said the best thing to do is to target the places you would like to work, and go in and ask.
