Volunteer work

I would like to do some volunteer work abroad working with children. I would like to go with one of my friends and I was wondering if anybody knew of a good organisiation where you could apply and go togther.

Steff, there was a similar question sometime back (link below) although it is not specific to you, it does have some opinions and more importantly some web links for volunteers.
