Aswell as the fact that the heating comes through the ceiling of the school, non of the three halls are big enough for the whole school to congregate, is that silly or what?

Plus at the moment there are only years 9, 10 and 11 with some 6th formers, but because the middle schools are closing down, there will soon be years 7 and 8 but no 6th formers.

At the moment you can just about fit a year group into the drama studio, if extra chairs are put out (there are about 100 fixed, folding chairs.) Also, houses can have assemblies aswell, and because a house is a quarter of the school, my house at least can fit in without extra chairs, but if they almsot double in size, i don't think even a house will fit in to have an assembly.

What were the architects and builders thinking of? Can the whole school fit into a hall of a high school you know of?

Molly, if it rally bothers you then burn down your school. It's cardboard so it should ignite fairly easily. They'll have to rebuild it then, and you could volunteer as the architect
LOL bobjugs!
lol bob!
Molly, I've never heard you say a good thing about your school, unless it's the only one available to you, why did you choose to go there?
Question Author
it has been on fire before, i saw it happen, it still hasn't been repaired properly.
Moan, moan, moan
Let it rest molly - we don't know, you don't know, and there is nothing anyone can do about it now anyway.

sophie, apparantly its the best out of the three in the area. I dread to think what the other two are like, i know one has police based there permently and is under special measures.
I thought you were from Suffolk, very surprised to hear there's a school that needs permanent poltce presence there.
Molly, I can guarantee you my schol was worse!!
Ah well! Most high school pupils think their schools aren't much good, just grin and bear it, when you get even just to 23 (like me, which believe me happens WAY too quick!) you'll have rose tinted glasses and want to go back there!
Sophie, trust me, i'm nearly thirty and I really don't want to go back (unless it involves the placement of high explosive)

We had a teacher recently come to our school form another high school in yarmouth who thought my school was great and the kids wonderfully behaved, (might have had something to do with the fact that the two instigators of the trouble were excluded at the time)
To be fair I would only want to go back to year 10/11, never to 7, 8 or 9!
you are not going to know what to complain about when you leave school! ;)

10 and 11 are the hardest years, this year i've got 18 exams (only 17 more to go, as i've done my art exam)
Question Author
well when i leave my first year of sixth form i'll be going to a different college, then i'll have university, then going into work.
Be thankful that all you have to worry about is exams and the size of rooms at your school - you should make the most of this time, it tends to go downhill a bit from here.
nah for me 10 and 11 were the best, yeah we had exams but because of study leave had about 3 months off for summer in year 11 when everyone just had loads of fun hanging out, there was school prom which was fab and I had a great group of friends for those two years which helped, also had the best house parties in year 11!

i still haven't gone on study leave. we leave on the 28th may, after i've done 6 of my exams, then my last exam is exactly a month later.
My school was very progressive and did a number of unique projects.
First school in SE to have a creche (for the pupils)
Only school I've ever heard to have a smoking are for the students to stop them climbing the fences for a smok
First school in the country (according to the Sun) to have ever been raided for drugs
First school in Hants to have it's own copper

I got 2 Bs and 3 Cs and was considered one of the best achieving pupils that year.
