I qualified doing the Premiers Diploma in Personal Training, through this I have been a Personal Trainer and have my small Sports Therapy Clinic. I have done this career for a few years.  Im fed up with really bad unsociable hrs, I want a regular income and not all in dribs and drabs and better hrs.  I am in my late 30's and was a secretary as a teen and can work a computer and touch type.  With no office qualifications. I have 1 o'level, 7 CSE's and Diploma in BTEC course at college when younger.  Can someone give me ideas, or at least where to go from here?  Thanks

Premier are quite good with their past student and i believe have a JOBS section, e.g. they'll send you job opportunities that might suit. If you would like to stay in the industry have you ever considered training other people to become PT's you could wok for premier themselves- thats 9 - 6 isn't it? Another area you might be interested in is sporting events - still some odd hours but not as bad as the fitness industry. Good luck
I was thinking of training as a personal trainer & giving up a well paid job.what is your advice. thanks.

Insurance, dont do it unless your prepaired to loose your social life. Clients like 6-9pm and 4pm-10pm and weekends, as there working, you dont get many in the day. So unless you want to give up a good part of your social life!  Think again.  Best suits single people. Good money for less hours, but do consider what you will lose out in your social life
