The big end went on my brother's motorbike when he was on his way from Scotland to Germany. He was near Nottingham so went to stay with friends and cancelled his trip. Whilst in Nottingham he met a lovely lady and married her a couple of years later. That was 13 years and three kids ago.

The big end is the bottom of the rod that pushes the piston up and down in the engine
