i broke up with my partner and left our house with our two kids, and we are currenly staying with my parents. we have a joint mortgage that has always been payed from my wage as he has no income he is not moving out and is not allowing me to put the house up for sale and is expecting me to pay it for him so he can stay what can i do and where do i stand please help

You can apply to court to order the sale.

In the meantime, inform the mortgage company.

You could stop paying the mortgage - that will eventually force him out, but will leave you with a very poor credit rating.

You could move back in to the house if you want to live there in the long term but if you want the house sold, a court order is the way if he won't agree. The court WILL order the sale, without a doubt.
SEE A SOLICITOR. Not sure if you're married. Partner ? Could be a husband, but not sure. If you're the one paying the mortage then inform the mortgage company. Explain the situation. Not sure why you left the property. Usually advice is to stay PUT and change locks if necessary. Good Luck.
