housing tennant

i live with my girlfriend but i wont to move out but we are joint tennants on tenancy with a housing association and there is no fixed time on living at the flat. how do i get out so i dont get chased for rent ?

You need to approach the housing officer at the association and tell them you are moving out and ask if they can remove your name from the joint tenancy agreement.They will usually do this if there are no rent arrears owed on the property.
