Sorry if this all sounds confusing but it is so complicated. The holiday was "all inclusive" meaning we did not have to spend unless we chose to do so. The hotel was in such a poor state, dirty, food disgusting that we had no choice (as did other guests) than to eat out. We do not have receipts for this. When we arrived at the accommdation at 2.30 am - we had to sit in reception until a room was made available at 12.30 pm the following day, even though we had paid for 7 nights and only got 6 nights.
The 'loss of enjoyment' is compensation for the holiday not being what was expected. After all you work all year, and time off is very precious.
I have never complained about a holiday before but don't think these people should get away with it. My family have holidayed in Turkey on 4 previous occasions, and everything was good, but this hotel we stayed in was so unbelievably bad and a waste of money.
