A Very Disturbing Visit
Last week I visited an old pal not seen for about a year. On his wall there was a calendar with photos of very young girls with their genitals exposed and suggestive captions below.
Is it a criminal offence to possess such material or is it only if on a computer?

B00, yes, I took the reference to "very young girls" to mean visibly below puberty (hence my remark about older girls looking young). Along with suggestive captions that would probably count as child porn.
If they're old enough, though, then no offence - and if it's a professional calendar, that may well be the case.

There is sometimes a very fine line between looking young and being genuinely young. That being said, if you're really worried and convinced they are prepubescent girls, it certainly wouldn't do any harm to report it.
To be honest I find it hard to believe that anyone would put up a calendar for all to see featuring underage girls in a sexual manner.
