i want to go to canada for a holiday with my family have a criminal record they now do a advance passengers identity record while in transit. should i contact the canadian embassy. at the same time i dont want to open a can of worms...

Since 9/11 and 7/7 this world we live has changed.




A convicted terrorist would be on Interpol.

You don't need a visa for Canada and we don't share info about the average person with them. And anyway, he's probably already been by now as he asked the question in Feb 07
