Hello

I have bben to court with my Ex who has been charged with battery.

I was told that the Magistrates have to decide on the verdict "beyond reasonable doubt". What does this mean?

beyond reasonable doubt,means basically they have to be absolutely sure,any little doubt in their minds means not guilty
