beating
I am being charged with two counts of beating and one of disturbing the police. Earlier this year i got a fine for weeing in the street. Apart from that I've never been in trouble before. I'm 26 years old now. My arrest happened thursday 5th, it was caught on camera so i cant deny it. I was kept in a cell all day friday and my court date is tuesday 17th of this month! What's likly to happen and whats the worst that can happen?

I bet every one of you have broken the law at some point. Even speeding can kill people and I bet there isn't a person on here that hasn't done that. If you drove over the limit and hurt someone you would be in trouble just like i am now. Things just get out of control sometimes. Thats life, I'm extreamly sorry for what I did, I'm only human and I made an error
Not wuite the same. I for one very rarely speed, and people that do dont do it to intentionally kill someone. You beat someone to hurt them. You're right that everyone has made mistakes but usually people grow up and I guess some on here cant see why a 26yr old would be fighting or weeing in the street. Anyways let us know how you get on.
I see men all the time weeing in the street. It doesn't make it ok what so ever but you can hardly call that crime of the centry. Beating sounds pretty harsh, basically i hit her and her friend claims i hit her too but that will be dropped coz it never happened. I'm not saying hitting people is ok but i just want to get that across.
Assault by beating is common assault, the starting point is community penalty. if you plead guilty at the earliest opportunity you can expect at the least unpaid work (up to 300 hours). However 2 counts of assault may bring you into custody level probably suspended with unpaid work. You may have to pay compensation to the aggrieved. The Magistrates will ask for reports from the probation service and at that point will indicate whether they are considering a community penalty or an all options report to include custody
