Ex Husband (police officer) charged!!!
Hi can any one help.
My ex husband who is a police officer has been charged on 4 offences...assault on 2 people, drink driving, and intent arson. He has been suspended from work, and is in court next week. Does anyone know what sort of sentance or punishment he may get?
With the intent arson, he tried to set light to a room with his girlfriend and her daughter in there, but they managed to stop him, so that's why its intent arson. Luckily my son who was staying over managed to get out the house before all this begun. His girlfriend and her daughter were not so lucky and got hurt, although ok now, thank goodness..it could have been a lot worse.

No i have had a call from the police updating me on what's going on, as my son is a witness to the verbal abuse whilst he was in the house. They said he will lose his job straight away for the drink driving!! About time...i told the police 9 years ago, that he was doing that, and nothing was done!! Hopefully justice will be done!!

hi anneasquith,
I think he may only get his pension up to the moment he loses his job. He is only 41 so had a good few years left yet. It's worth alot more in the later years.
No it won't affect me regarding his pension has the agreement in my divorce is i kept the house, instead of having any of his pension. So he has lost out big time.
