When willthey give me back my passport ? And can i go home if iam given a suspended sentence ? Thanks
The retention of your passport is a bail condition. As soon as you surrender to bail that condition no longer applies, so the police should return your passport immediately. (In practice you might need to arrange a time to collect it from a police station).

A suspended sentence does not impose any obligations upon an offender (other than, of course, simply keeping out of trouble with the law during the relevant period).
As soon as you get judgement, they are bound to return it. They will maybe tell you in person, or write a letter to you asking you to collect your 'property', as it will be in the station store, I presume. You could telephone and ask to speak to property office to check first.
You are free to go home, except you may have a 'condition' or 'conditions' added, which may mean you will have to see another 'party' first ... like probation, etc.
I would call the police station, and get the property item number for your passport. I have found the items in police seized property can "grow legs and walk" never to be found again.
