As a novice I would like to go somewhere - but I havent got a lot to spend and would only be needing Nursery slopes
Any suggestions please ???

With any holiday you need to allow for 'extras' (such as meals or excursions) but skiing holidays usually involve paying for ski hire and lift passes. When comparing prices it's VITAL that you check whether such things are included. (A 6 day lift pass can cost anything from around £100 up to about £300, depending upon the resort. It's definitely not something which you'd you want to get as unexpected bill upon arrival!)

Many years ago we went to Brasov in Romainia, its a beautiful place and the skiing was good, with plenty of good tuition and easy slopes to get you started. As its not the most fashionable place to go, it was quite a bit cheaper than other destinations.
